Executive Officer

Job Description

• Provide administrative support to the development and operation of the Centre, contribute to the overall administration operation of the Centre’s activities (including webinars/lectures/visits);
• Plan and implement the recruitment strategies of the Centre;
• Manage payroll, human resources (HR) records, and visa applications for the Centre’s employees;
• Handle HR matters and implement HR rules and regulations as set out by the labor law;
• Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Centre Director or his delegates.

General Qualification

• A good Bachelor’s degree in communications, human resources, business management or related discipline;
• At least 3 years of solid post-qualification executive, service management and/or administration experience, preferably with work experience at tertiary institutions;
• Excellent leadership skills, team spirit and self-motivation. Experience in university administration and knowledge of HR and finance systems will be advantageous;
• Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multitask in meeting tight deadlines; and
• Proficiency in office software applications and good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Remuneration & Duration of Appointment

The remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits for full-time appointment include leave and medical insurance, etc.

Initial appointment for a period of 2 years with the possibility of extension.
