In collaboration with CityU, University of Oxford, and Karolinska Institutet, the Hong Kong Centre for Cerebro-cardiovascular Health Engineering (COCHE) was established with the support of the ITC-InnoHK Programme to develop new ways to tackle cardiovascular disease (CVD), which is the world's leading cause of morbidity and mortality. To address the most pressing health challenges caused by CVD, COCHE focuses on developing innovative technologies such as flexible and wearable devices, biomedical and molecular imaging, nano-biosensing, micro-robotics, healthcare AI systems, and other ground-breaking methods to enable early prevention, diagnosis, and intervention of the disease. Job Description

We are seeking two detailed-oriented and proactive Clinical Trial Specialists to lead community health initiatives with local resources to improve chronic disease management, prevention, and education. This role involves strategic collaboration between Hong Kong and Mainland China, requiring occasional travel to align with organizational goals. Responsibilities:
• Program Development & Data Management: Design, implement, and oversee data-driven health programs (e.g., cardiovascular disease prevention).

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with hospitals, NGOs, and community organizations to strengthen referral networks and resource integration.

• Training & Capacity Building: Educate healthcare providers and patients on chronic disease management, digital health tools (e.g., AI, remote monitoring), and best practices.

• Performance & Compliance: Monitor programme effectiveness, analyse outcomes, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards (ICH-GCP & local healthcare laws).

• Perform other duties as assigned to advance COCHE’s mission.

General Qualification

Education: Master’s degree or higher in Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum 3 years in community health programs, with expertise in risk assessment and intervention strategies.

Skills & Competencies:
1. Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese proficiency is a plus).

2. Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, Excel) and familiarity with health IT systems/digital healthcare applications.

3. Strong strategic thinking, adaptability to cross-cultural environments, and willingness to travel (~25% of time).

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:

Remuneration & Duration of Appointment

The remuneration package will be highly competitive, and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits for full-time appointments include leave and medical insurance, etc. Initial appointments will be made on a fixed-term contract. The possibility of re-appointment after the initial contract period will be based on performance evaluation and mutual agreements.
