Cimple Biotechnology Limited (Cimple), a pioneering biotech firm spun off from the HK Tech 300 of City University of Hong Kong (CityU), Hong Kong Centre for Cerebro-cardiovascular Health Engineering (COCHE) and Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), is at the forefront of innovation. Job Description
• Engage in the technological research of microfluidic rapid diagnostic products, including the optimization of the reaction system and methodology.
• Conduct research in the field of materials science, encompassing the testing of chemical materials and biological raw materials.
• Pursue research in the pilot-scale production of products, assist in establishing the inspection and quality control procedures for raw and auxiliary materials, including design, validation, and optimization, to help resolve issues before and after mass production.
General Qualification
• A relevant PhD, MPhil or BSc degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biomedical engineering or equivalent preferred.
•Possess excellent communication skills and a proficient grasp of fundamental theories and experimental skills in immunology, medical laboratory science, and molecular biology.
Preferred Hiring Qualifications:
Remuneration & Duration of Appointment
The remuneration package will be highly competitive, and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits for full-time appointments include leave and medical insurance, etc. The possibility of re-appointment after the initial contract period will be based on performance evaluation and mutual agreements.
