In collaboration with CityU, University of Oxford, and Karolinska Institutet, the Hong Kong Centre for Cerebro-cardiovascular Health Engineering (COCHE) was established with the support of the ITC-InnoHK Programme to develop new ways to tackle cardiovascular disease (CVD), which is the world's leading cause of morbidity and mortality. To address the most pressing health challenges caused by CVD, COCHE focuses on developing innovative technologies such as flexible and wearable devices, biomedical and molecular imaging, nano-biosensing, micro-robotics, healthcare AI systems, and other ground-breaking methods to enable early prevention, diagnosis, and intervention of the disease. Job Description

Job description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources and administrative functions, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. The role involves policy formulation, compliance, budgeting, and providing expert HR support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the full spectrum of HR & Admin functions across the Company;
• Work closely with Senior Management on administration policies and alignment with the Company’s development strategies and monitor the execution;
• Formulate, review and ensure compliance with relevant workflows, policies and guidelines;
• Maintain and regularly update the employee handbook, HR policies, and internal protocols;
• Ensure the Company’s standard operating procedures and admin systems are implemented and followed;
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to manage smooth corporate operations; and
• Provide professional advice and support on HR & Admin matters

General Qualification

Requirements:
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in HR & Admin functions with proven track record;
• Experience working in universities services and/or research centres will be an advantage;
• Degree holder in Business, Management, Human Resources and related field preferred;
• Strong communication skills, responsible, proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented;
• Capable of handling daily responsibilities and ad hoc projects with confidence and able to work under pressure, tight timelines and multi-task;
• Able to adapt to Company culture while driving positive changes; and
• Fluent and proficient in both English and Cantonese with remarkable writing skills, fluency in Mandarin a plus

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:

Remuneration & Duration of Appointment

The remuneration package will be highly competitive, and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits for full-time appointments include leave and medical insurance, etc. The possibility of re-appointment after the initial contract period will be based on performance evaluation and mutual agreements.
