Prof. Bernard CHIU

Bernard Chiu received the Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Calgary, Calgary, AB, Canada, in 2001, the Master of Applied Science degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Western Ontario, London, ON, Canada, in 2009.,He was a Senior Fellow with the Department of Radiology, University of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. His research focuses on medical image processing, quantification, and visualization involving ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with applications in cardiovascular medicine and oncology.
