About the Research Centre
In collaboration with CityUHK, University of Oxford, and Karolinska Institutet, the Hong Kong Centre for Cerebro-cardiovascular Health Engineering (COCHE) was established with the support of the ITC-InnoHK Programme to develop new ways to tackle cardiovascular disease (CVD), which is the world's leading cause of morbidity and mortality. To address the most pressing health challenges caused by CVD, COCHE focuses on developing innovative technologies such as flexible and wearable devices, biomedical and molecular imaging, nano-biosensing, micro-robotics, healthcare AI systems, and other ground-breaking methods to enable early prevention, diagnosis, and intervention of the disease. Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Community Engagement Manager to lead and execute COCHE’s community engagement initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving our community health awareness and assessment programmes, fostering partnerships, and ensuring seamless coordination across stakeholders. General Qualification
Responsibilities:
• Lead and implement COCHE’s community programmes, with an initial focus on health awareness and assessment programmes;
• Lead and manage the Community Health Team, set strategy and roadmap, oversee and plan programmes and operations, deliverables, proposal preparations and executive reporting to stakeholders;
• Coordinate and provide end-to-end logistical support for COCHE’s community programme activities from coordinating with partners on programme deliverables to evaluating the effectiveness of the programme and associated research studies;
• Organise activities and coordinate meetings, post-event summaries, produce presentations and compile minutes for relevant programme meetings;
• Liaise and coordinate with programme participants, service providers, NGOs, universities and COCHE community event partners and volunteers to ensure the smooth running and output quality of COCHE's community programmes; and
• Translate COCHE technology into professional community impact
• Stakeholder alignments across internal and external entities.
• Perform other duties as assigned to advance COCHE’s mission.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Sciences, Occupational Therapy, Public Health, Event Management, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven track record in managing health-focused community programmes.
• Proven track records of funding seeking are preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in biomedical engineering, health and community outreach, or community event coordination.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging diverse stakeholders.
